Martijn Lindeboom – Board member, curator, and adviser
Martijn Lindeboom is a Dutch writer, editor and writing coach, law professional and organizer of events. He has a big affinity for diversity, non-Western fiction and the African continent. He has edited several anthologies, most recently together with Vamba Sherif: De komeet (The Comet, inspired by the story of the same name written by the great W. E. B Dubois, speculative stories by Dutch authors of diverse background). He is the organizer of the biggest speculative writing competition in the Netherlands: The Harland Prijs and the organizer of several big literary events. He’s also a scout for and editor of speculative fiction at African Literary Agency (https://africanliteraryagency.com/). He’s a Master at Law with 25 years of experience in legal advice for government and businesses. Finally he’s a Master in Taekwon-Do (7th degree blackbelt ITF), headmaster of Taekwon-Do school Sung Zang and member of the Technical Committee of the Netherlands.
Martijn works as a volunteer on the board of the Vamba Sherif Foundation, where he contributes his expertise in writing, organizing, legal matters and planning.
